This page explains in plain language what data Envoz collects, what we use it for, where it is stored, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What data we collect
When you use Envoz we collect your email address, your learning progress, and the content of your conversations with the trainer, including text you type and voice recordings you make to practice your pronunciation. If you create a presentation profile, we also collect your profile photo and your voice introduction.
What we use your data for
We use your data to give you lessons, track your progress, correct your pronunciation, remember what you have already learned and what you have not, and to improve how Envoz teaches. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Outside AI services
Envoz connects your messages and voice notes to outside AI services to generate the trainer reply, transcribe what you say, and create the audio you hear. This means your chat text and your audio are sent to those outside providers for processing. Those providers process your data only to respond to that specific request.
Where your data is stored
Your email, your progress, and your conversation history are stored in Supabase, a database with restricted access. That information is not open to the public.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete the data associated with it within 30 days.
How to delete your account and data
You can delete your account directly from the app, in Settings. You can also request it without needing the app, from envoz.io/eliminar-cuenta. Either way your account becomes unreachable immediately and your data is fully deleted within 30 days.
What we keep even after you delete your account
For accounting and tax compliance reasons, we keep your payment records and, if you are an affiliate partner, your commission records, even after you delete your account. That information stays identifiable, is never anonymized, and is not used for anything beyond bookkeeping.
